Porcelain dinnerware can be ordered from David Walters, using the examples on this page. While it is better by far to visit the Ceramics Gallery in Franschhoek to see all the samples there, we can supply this limited range of the most sought after dinnerware through the post. We have tried to give various options, for example one can order both 'swirl' textured and plain plates and bowls, and one can order the same items glazed white all over, or we can leave the rim unglazed - an option favoured by many chefs. These unglazed areas will not absorb water or discolour, as all items are high fired, and the clay is vitrified. All items are dishwasher safe and microwave oven friendly. Our glazes contain NO lead.

Either place an order and we will quote you on the whole order, and give you an estimate on the cartage costs, or email us with your ideas and requests, and we will consult with you about your options - we will start the conversation!

We do not charge VAT, as we are a very small business. Orders will take around six weeks to make, depending on the size of the order, and we operate on a strictly first come, first served basis. We will tell you when we contact you with the quotation how long you can expect to wait for your order. All items are made by David himself, individually, on the potters wheel - and this takes time.

Prices quoted do not include packaging and posting costs. We will quote for these on receipt of order.

A deposit of 20% of the value of the order is required on confirmation.
